The attached strawberries are magnets. [Material] Cotton*Careful attention was paid to the cotton yarn, using the optimal thickness for towels that are soft and voluminous. The special spinning process also suppresses the production of feathers, which reduces the adhesion of feathers to other clothing, thus making the towels gentle to allergy sufferers. [Weaving] The most advanced Swiss towel fibers are used, resulting in a shiny towel with a beautifully aligned pile. The glue used to weave the towels is not ordinary scientific glue, but wheat starch glue, which can also be used for food, and is glued at a low temperature to avoid damaging the cotton yarn. [Processing] The yarn is bleached using the minimum amount of chemicals necessary to prevent damage to the yarn. Fluorescent bleach, which is often used to enhance whiteness, is not used at all. By carefully washing the towels with soft water, such as rainwater and groundwater from the Takanawa mountain range in Shikoku, we aim to create towels that are gentle to sensitive skin without leaving any chemicals on the fabric. By taking the time and effort to make the best use of the original characteristics of the material, and by leaving a small amount of oil, we satisfy the two conflicting needs of [water absorbency] and [softness]. |

【素材】
綿花・綿糸からこだわり、柔らかくボリュームの出るタオルに最適な太さの糸を使用。
紡績の過程でも、特殊紡績で羽毛の出を押さえており、ほかの衣類へ羽毛の付着が少なく、そのためアレルギーの方にも優しいタオルになっています。
【織り】
最新鋭のスイス製タオル繊維を使用しており、パイルの出方がきれいに揃って光沢のあるタオルに仕上がっています。タオルを織る際に綿糸に使われる糊は通常の科学糊ではなく、食用としても使用できる小麦でんぷんを主体とした糊を使い、かつ綿糸を傷めないように低温で糊付けをし、製織をしています。
【加工】
糸を傷めないように必要最低限の薬品を使用し、精錬漂白をしています。白さを引き立てるために使用されることの多い蛍光増白剤は一切使用していません。四国高縄山系に降る雨水や地下水などの軟水を使って入念に洗うことで、生地に薬品を残さないよう、敏感肌にも優しいタオルづくりを目指しています。手間と時間をかけることで、素材の本来持っている特性を生かし、油分をわずかに残すことで「吸水性」と「柔らかさ」という相反する2つを満たしています。
