| Utsuwa [nurture] [Kohiki]. This is a super long-selling product that has been on the market for over 40 years. Plain white Kohiki, rich in earthiness, is simple and easy to use for daily meals. Yet, it does not have the hardness of Western tableware, and even has a sense of warmth. Kohiki dishes are water absorbent. The structure makes it difficult for water to escape, so it takes a little time and effort. However, it is a pleasure to use it carefully. It is a vessel that can be used, enjoyed for its color changes, and nurtured. That is what Kohiki is all about. Kohiki vessels sometimes have a pinkish color called "Gohonte".
