Description
| This is a technique of finishing by brushing raw lacquer, a translucent lacquer, onto the fabric. The raw urushi is applied to the surface, and the excess urushi is wiped off with a special paper. The result is a bowl with a beautiful luster and translucent grain. The most enjoyable thing about wipe lacquer bowls is that they change over time.
