Description
This is the third dinosaur picture book by the popular duo of glue picture book authors, following Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus. The main character, Pteranodon, is a pterosaur that lived at about the same time as the first two dinosaurs. This book depicts a day in the life of the pteranodon. Since it is a pterosaur that flies in the sky, there is a sense of speed in the development of the story. In the overhead scene, you can see Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, and many other dinosaurs. Although not a dinosaur, there is also a powerful scene of a Mosasaurus, a type of marine reptile from the same era that is said to have eaten a Tyrannosaurus! Pteranodon has the image of flying freely, but unlike birds, it is not good at taking off from the ground. It is said to have eaten a tyrannosaurus, and the scene shows it at its most powerful. |
