The back of the fabric is coated with a black polyurethane coating for excellent light shielding, UV shielding, and heat shielding (*). It is also waterproof, so it can be used even in a sudden rainstorm. *Shading rate of 99.9% or more for all colors (UPF rating: 50+ for all colors). Standard folding type is easy to keep in a bag and carry around. The water repellent* waterproof finish makes them suitable for use even in a sudden rainstorm. Made of fiberglass reinforced plastic [fiberglass bone] with excellent strength and flexibility.
