The magic hidden in Komuro's works has made him a favorite of many figure fans in Japan and abroad, beyond the art world. Komuro's works, which begin with 3DCG images, are created using a variety of materials, including wood, FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic), and bronze. The approximately 100 works included in this book are photographed not only from the front, but also from the back. The design is characterized by details such as spell-like letters and symbols drawn on the works, which can be clearly seen. In addition to an interview with the artist, the text pages include two essays by critics who highly evaluate the artistry of KOMURO's works. Each of the essays on Komuro by Yushi Akimoto, who has served as director of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa and director of the University Art Museum of Tokyo University of the Arts, and Noi Sawaragi, an art critic known for her works such as "Introduction to Anti-Art" (Gentosha), "Later Art Theory" and "Shin-Bijutsu Theory" (both from Bijutsu Shuppansha), is a must-read. At the end of the book, photographer Taro Hirano presents 32 pages of photographs taken at the production site. This is a book that reveals new aspects of Komuro's work.
