Description
| Willodeen, a young girl living in the village of Perchance, lost her family in a fire when she was six years old and is being raised by two elderly women in the neighborhood. The village is famous for its beautiful nests of humming bears, small animals that fly in for the winter, but recently the number of humming bears has been decreasing. In addition, the village has been hit by landslides and forest fires, and the number of tourists has been decreasing. Willodean likes to walk alone in the forest and prefers sakébies, animals with tusks and claws, to humming bears. However, the sakébies are being exterminated by the village hunters because they interfere with tourism. Willodeen appealed to the village council to stop shooting the sakébies, but they would not listen. Then something strange happened. Out of nowhere, a real baby Sakebee appeared! |
