Description
| Tokonameyaki has a 1,000-year history dating back to the late Heian period and is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. A wide range of products are made here, from daily necessities such as teapots and tableware to construction materials such as ceramic pipes, tiles, and sanitary ware. On June 11, 1976, the area was designated as a traditional crafts area based on the national "Law Concerning the Promotion of Traditional Craft Industries. *A stainless steel banded kettle is used, which can be used safely even for deep steamed tea with fine tea leaves. *Please consider that the capacity is for two people (100ml per person). *Green mud clay is fired at 1100 degrees Celsius. The material contains no harmful substances. *Tsubaki-e is hand-painted on the surface. *The lid and body are mortised together to make a pair. Therefore, there are polishing marks on the lid and body. Recommended for inbound. |

常滑焼(とこなめやき)は、平安時代後期から1,000年の歴史を有し、日本六古窯のひとつに数えられる焼き物産地です。急須や食器などの日用品から陶管・タイル・衛生陶器などの建築資材まで幅広い製品がつくられています。昭和51年6月11日、国の「伝統的工芸品産業の振興に関する法律」に基づき伝統的工芸品として産地指定を受けました。
