| Enku Butsuri was a Buddhist monk who was active in creating Buddhist statues during the Edo period. This incense stand is based on his work Enku-butsu. The Enku Buddha is characterized by its simplified design, rugged and wild, yet with a mysterious smile. Furthermore, the unique carving technique called Itto-bori carving enhances Enku Buddha's individuality.
