Description
Handmade glass [Tsugaru Biidoro] Nebuta, which makes you feel the beautiful four seasons of Japan. [Tsugaru Biidoro is handmade one by one by skilled craftsmen at a factory with an "Aomori Meister" certified as an excellent technician in Aomori. The charm of this product lies in the beauty of its colors, which reflect the richness of the four seasons. [The process of "creating the color of glass" is difficult, and if there is a difference of even 0.1 gram per kilogram of glass, the glass will not take shape and break. The color matching of Tsugaru Biidoro is a craftsman's skill that is the result of many years of intuition and experience. The skill of melting is also indispensable in creating the colors. Careful attention is paid to melting temperature and raw material input to ensure that the ideal color is achieved when the glass is turned into a product. The process of determining the right amount of melting temperature to efficiently produce good colors sometimes takes several years, and it cannot be continued without perseverance and passion. There are very few companies like Hokuyo Glass that can handle the entire process in-house, from color mixing to molding. This is because it takes a lot of time and effort. Even so, the desire to "create a special color that will remain in someone's heart" is what makes Biidoro a symbol of the four seasons. [NEBUTA] The vividness of the Nebuta Festival, one of the three major summer festivals in Tohoku, is reflected in the eight colors of colored glass. The transparency of the glass and the variety of colors resonate with each other. Nebuta* Although it is a traditional craft, it is affordable because it is made by spin molding (using a mold to extend the glass by centrifugal force), a technique that allows for a greater number of pieces to be made compared to the air-blown process of blowing glass up in the hollow. However, to express the gorgeous colors of Nebuta, we insist on using many colors of colored glass [shimo] and put a lot of effort into it. For the pink coloring, we used gold (which reacts chemically during melting to produce the color), giving it a more modern look than the traditional image of Japanese tableware. It is recommended for both Japanese and Western cuisine. The glass is thick and various colors reflect each other, creating a more gorgeous effect under the sunlight. It is a beautiful Japanese glass tableware that you will want to use for various dishes and occasions.
