Description
Using a warm matte glaze, it is simple, comfortable in the hand, and easy to hold. Even though it is a rice bowl, you can serve fruits or ice cream. The gentle texture will make your dining table relaxing and warm. Due to the characteristics of matte glaze, glaze dripping and uneven coloring may occur. ------------------- This is a series of recycled ceramics created from approximately 50% raw materials of broken tableware. The raw materials may have been your bowls that were broken or disposed of. [It was born in the Mino ware production area, valuing the idea of "manufacturing that does not waste environmental resources". ≪About Re-Shokki Re-dishware is recycled tableware that does not waste ceramic clay by reusing unwanted or used tableware. This initiative has been undertaken for the past 18 years by producers in Higashi Mino, the production center of Mino ware, which accounts for 60% of Japan's total pottery production. Ceramic* pottery is made from an exhaustible natural resource called clay. In addition, most unwanted tableware is thrown away as unburnable waste and buried, but it does not return to the soil even after 10,000 years. [We are working on the production of recycled tableware with the desire to "do something about this situation" and "preserve this precious natural resource for the future and create a cycle of environmentally friendly tableware. We have started the resource cycle* recycling of ceramic tableware in collaboration with "makers" in various regions, including Minoyaki, "users" of tableware nationwide, and the government. Our goal is to create ceramics* that are friendly to the global environment and offer comfortable and heartwarming lifestyles. ≪The thoughts of the creator Mino Ceramic Ware has produced a large amount of pottery. Pottery is made by taking raw materials from the mountains, destroying nature, and when they are no longer usable due to damage or other reasons, they have to be thrown away and do not return to the soil even if they are sent to a landfill. Can't we shift to a more environmentally friendly direction? Instead of throwing them away, why don't we return them from the place of consumption to the place of production and use them as raw materials to make vessels? This is how we started this project. We believe that these dishes are not just containers for putting things in and eating them, but they are tools that enrich the dining table and the time spent at the table. In addition, when people use this recycled tableware at home, I wanted it to play a role in conveying the message from parents to their children that "this tableware is made with the concept of manufacturing products that do not waste environmental resources. I would like to create an opportunity for people to think about the global environment in their daily lives, and I would also like to link this to food education through tableware. ≪The thoughts of the user I like the warm texture * color * atmosphere that matches casual home cooking. Using recycled pottery makes me feel kind and gentle while feeling that I am doing something good for the global environment. I can share the story of the dishes with the people I am eating with and eat with a gentle feeling. We want people to feel the warmth of the clay and use it with care and respect, and MINORe has carefully put these thoughts into shape. Through the provision of ceramics, we, too, will deliver them with all our heart so that the thoughts of the makers will reach a wide audience. |
