Using an abandoned school in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture as their atelier, they have created a variety of works, including picture books, sculptures, and animations, which have been exhibited both in Japan and abroad. Her debut work [Daikouka no ikataro] (Suzuki Shuppan) won the 20th Japan Picture Book Award Readers' Prize, [Shingoki picori] (Akane Shobo) won the 23rd Japan Picture Book Award Readers' Prize, and [Gakkou ni mamaiawana] (Akane Shobo) won the 28th Japan Picture Book Award. Her many picture books include "Off Rocket" and "Doubutsu Panpanpan" (Hakusensha). |

阿部健太朗(1989生まれ)と吉岡紗希(1988生まれ)による2人組の絵本作家／美術家。ともに大分県生まれ。大分県由布市の廃校をアトリエにして、絵本・立体造形・アニメーションなど様々な作品を生み出し、国内外で発表している。デビュー作『だいおういかのいかたろう』(鈴木出版)で第20回日本絵本賞読者賞、『しんごうきピコリ』(あかね書房)で第23回日本絵本賞読者賞、『がっこうに まにあわない』(あかね書房)で第28回日本絵本賞受賞。絵本に『オフロケット』『どうぶつパンパン』(白泉社)など、多数。
