Description
Many art collectors waiting for new works! A taciturn painter* Seitaka Sato with his overly precise pencil drawings and bold use of paint. What is the beauty that he pursues? Covering the eyes and painting over the petals of a beautiful painting Artist Tomotaka Sato has a passionate fan base. His motifs are real people and flowers. Facing the panel, he first copies the motifs with pencil lines only, with such precision that it could be mistaken for a photograph. When he has completed a pencil drawing the size of a full panel, he boldly fills in his own drawings of [eyes that speak too much] and [petals that exaggerate beauty] with brightly colored, multicolored acrylic paint. By daring to cover with paint the areas that people generally find the most beautiful, he expresses the true beauty of the motif itself. Sato is a painter who is too stoic in his work, but because of his style, he has produced only a small number of paintings, and many collectors are waiting for his new works. In addition to photographs of 72 paintings and three-dimensional works, this collection of Sato's works is a rare opportunity to see all of his works in one volume, and includes an essay by the spirited art critic Hiroki Yamamoto (Chuko Shinsho [Modern Art History] and others). The book includes a discussion manuscript by Hiroki Yamamoto (Chuko Shinsho [Modern Art History], etc.). |
