フランス製のごく細い糸を撚り合わせて模様を編み出した、
繊細で上品な仕上がりが特徴のレースです。手編みレースのような立体感と繊細さをもつ
美しい表情は“最もハンドメイドの仕上がりに近い機械レース”と言われています。
リバーレースの機械本体は現在では製造出来ないため、およそ100年以上前に製造された
アンティークマシンを使用し何万本もの糸を紡いで編み上げています。
世界でも限られた場所でしか作られないため、大変希少価値の高いものとなっています。
その製法は1800年代から変わらず時代を越えて現在まで受け継がれています。
※この製品はインドの職人の手によりひとつひとつピンタックを施しています。
手作業のため、ピンタックの仕上がりにばらつきがございますが、
