| Nittobo's kitchen cloths have been a long-seller for more than half a century since they were first sold in 1960, and have been passed down from generation to generation, from children to wives. The product was developed after three years of joint development with Nittobo, based on a kitchen cloth purchased as a sample by Jinko Ohashi (founder of Kurashi no Techo) on an inspection trip to the United States at a time when most kitchen cloths were made of cotton. The product was developed in collaboration with Nittobo over a period of three years. Focusing on the material blend ratio The most suitable material ratio was 65% cotton and 37% rayon in pursuit of such functionalities as good water absorbency, softness after repeated washing, and minimal fluffiness. Panama weave is the most suitable for water-absorbing work. It absorbs water well and dries quickly after washing, and its quick absorbency and wicking properties are achieved by the unique Panama weave, in which the threads are arranged evenly warp to weft. Panama weave is now a common practice for dishcloths, and Nittobo was the first company in Japan to use it. Please try the goodness that can be seen only after use.
