| Satoshi Kako, who passed away in 2018, left behind a manuscript of some 240 small stories, which he personally edited and categorized into different types of stories. These are [animal stories], [Japanese folktales], [stories from everyday life], and [stories from around the world]. There are stories that have not yet been published in books, stories that have been published in magazines, [br] stories that have been written as picture stories, and stories that have been written as picture story shows. He edited the stories that had not yet been published in books, in magazines, or as picture-story shows, and added to and illustrated them until shortly before his death. Each volume is filled with interesting stories for children from young children who are beginning to read to elementary school age, and can be read from any part of the story. Volume 7 is one of three [stories in daily life [part 2]]. Many of the stories drawn by Kako-san depict children's lives. The aim of these stories was to foster an eye for society and to solve problems through democratic discussions in line with daily life. We can feel the hope for children to think for themselves, expand their imagination, and work creatively through these works. The collection includes 18 stories, including a story about the fun of words, a story describing a strange sensation felt in a long train tunnel on a return trip home, a story realistically describing an incident in a bullying class, and a unique story about a social problem with a chemistry laboratory tool as a character.
