It is comfortable to wear for long periods of time as it is firmly stabilized on both shoulders. It is a piece that can be worn without hesitation, just like a dress or pullover. Sisamu staff members of various builds, from 150 cm to 180 cm, have worn this item, and we have arrived at a one-size-fits-all design that does not restrict the size of the wearer. It can be worn not only for yourself, but also as a gift, as a uniform for your store, or as a casual introduction to fair trade. The length is made so that it does not touch the floor when you squat down, making it easy to work outside. [It is like a waist pouch for work.] Table wipe holders placed at the waist. You can use it to wipe your hands with a towel as well as table wipes, which are sold separately. It can also be used as a pen holder, as the tip of the pen fits inside the pocket. The corners of the pockets have been cut off to prevent dust from accumulating. In addition, there is a scissors holder in the right pocket and a pocket for a smartphone in the right pocket. This is one of the important reasons for the development of this apron. We named this project the "Step Step Project" with the hope that the sewers will steadily climb up the technical ladder step by step. [Something that can be used with care for a long, long time]. The edges of the fabric, which are prone to fraying after daily use, are reinforced with a fabric backing and stitches of thick cotton yarn. 腰部分に配したテーブルワイプホルダー。別売りで展開しているテーブルワイプはもちろん、お手持ちのタオルを通してお手拭きにも。
またペンホルダーとして使用しても、ペン先がポケットの中に納まるので安心です。
ゴミが溜まりにくいよう、角を落としたポケット。
さらに右ポケットの中にははさみホルダー、右ポケットの中にはスマホ用ポケットを配しました。
一見シンプルに見えて、お仕事用のウエストポーチをつけているような安心感。

「ステップステッププロジェクト」
sisamのパートナーであるCreative Handicraftsの生産者の多くは、インドのスラム街で暮らす女性たち。
最初はエコバッグや巾着など、比較的簡単な縫製から技術を学んでいきます。
直線縫いからカーブ縫いへ、裏地無しから裏地付きへと少しずつ技術習得をしていくなかで、 小物と服の間に、もう一つステップを作ることができたら。
このエプロンの開発には、そんな大切な理由も込められているのです。
一歩一歩、着実に技術の階段を登ってもらいたいという思いを込めて、「ステップステッププロジェクト」と名付けました。
「長く長く大切に使えるものを」
毎日使っていると擦り切れやすい生地端部分は、生地の裏打ちと太番手コットン糸のステッチでしっかり補強。
力がかかりやすい部分にはかんぬき留めを施しました。
私たちはものを長く長くご愛用いただけることもエシカルだと考えています。
作る過程も使う過程もエシカルに。
自分だけのヴィンテージに育っていくのも楽しみですね。

使用しているオーガニックコットン生地とコットン糸は全てのパーツが天然素材。
お洗濯の際にマイクロプラスチックを排出しません。
