| *Resin incense *Camphor incense burner for camphor This is an incense burner for burning resin incense and camphor, which are almost unknown in Japan. Resin incense is a gum-like resin that is placed on a lit charcoal burner to release its fragrance as it melts and burns. It is used daily in the Arab world, where strong fragrances are popular, and of course in India as well. The advantage of this resin incense is that it does not mix with the burning smell of roasted bamboo. If you like Indian stick incense, you may know that they all smell pretty much like incense sticks. This is because incense is applied to a bamboo stick and burned with the stick. That is the smell of the bamboo strips. Resin incense allows you to enjoy the pure fragrance. *Because it is not an open flame, it smells good. This incense burner uses tea candles to heat the plate on which the incense is placed at the top to release the fragrance. Since the incense is not heated by an open flame, the burned fragrance does not mix with the incense, and the pure fragrance can be felt. *For instructions on how to use Put resin incense or camphor in the upper dish and heat it with the tea light candle below. The fragrance will spread after about 10 to 15 minutes. The position of the dish can be adjusted by moving it up and down and left to right. こちらは日本ではほとんど知られていない、樹脂香や樟脳を焚くための香炉です。樹脂香とは、ガムみたいな樹脂になっているお香を火が付いた炭の上などに乗せ、溶けて燃えて過程で、香りを放つものです。
強い香りが好きなアラブ圏で日常的に使用されていて、もちろんインドでも使用されています。この樹脂香のメリットはタケを焼いたような焦げ臭い匂いが混じらないこと。
インドのスティック香が好きな人は判るかと思いますが、結構どれも似た線香の香りがしますよね。それは竹ひごにお香を塗りつけて、竹ひごごと燃やしているからなのです。あれは竹ひごの匂いなんです。樹脂香は純粋な香りを楽しむことができます。
■直火でないから、良い香り
こちらの香炉は、ティーキャンドルで上部のお香が載るお皿を、熱することで香りを出します。直火で熱するタイプではないので、燃えた香りが混ざらず、より純粋な香りを感じることができます。
■使用方法につきまして
上部のお皿に、樹脂香や樟脳を入れて、下のティーライトキャンドルで加熱してご使用ください。だいたい10〜15分もすれば香りが広がります。
お皿の部分は、上下と左右に動かして位置を調整できます。香の種類や量に応じて、火をつける前に調整してご使用ください。
火を付けた後は、金属製の為全体がとても熱くなります。触れる際は、十分冷めてからにするようご注意ください。
また、樹脂香によっては使用後に、かなり固く残ってしまうことがあります。そうなると洗う際も大変なので、香を入れる小皿にアルミホイルを敷いて、その上に香を入れてると使用後も楽なのでオススメです。
