| A collaboration between Rainbow DRIVE-IN and Mookie Sato, a TIKI artist who specializes in mid-century*TIKI modern style and is active in the United States, France, Spain, Australia, and other countries around the world. This is an original artwork created especially for this project. ~ Mookie Sato Mookie Sato is an artist who specializes in mid-century and tiki modern styles, and has worked in the United States, France, Spain, Australia, and other countries. He started his art career as a vintage buyer in his twenties in the U.S., working mainly for record labels and museums. He later won the Grand Prix at the Polynesian Art Competition in Miami, and has recently been exhibiting his work in Florida. Recently, he was honored in Florida as "the artist who contributed the most to Tiki culture. He has been the main guest at two major Tiki culture events in the U.S., Tiki Oasis in the west and Hukilau in the east, working side by side with world-renowned artists such as Shag and Derek. He is also actively involved in charitable activities on Easter Island and in Polynesia, and is a person who carries on art as a culture. RAINBOW DRIVE-IN, one of Hawaii's most famous plate lunch restaurants, is always at the top of the list when you ask people in Honolulu what their favorite plate lunch is.
