Influenced by the beach culture of Hawaii, California, Australia, Shonan, etc., and surfing, which he encountered in his teens, the waves and sea creatures he draws with his unique touch using POSCA are all dynamic. Inspired by Ukiyoe and manga, his style is characterized by the use of clear contrasts and outlines, and the use of planes to depict people and landscapes. He expresses the emotions and joys he feels at sea through his works, hoping that his works will encourage people to think about the sea and nature, even if only a little. He started his career as a T-shirt designer for [PIKO], which was a big boom at the time, as well as for [RUSS-K] and [DICK BREWER]. He was also in charge of designing tour goods for Southern All Stars, a rock band representing the world of Japanese pop music. He has also worked for companies involved in Hawaii tourism such as [Outrigger Hotels & Resorts], [Hawaii Tourism Authority], [JAL], [Delta Air Lines], [HIS], [Victor Entertainment]'s [Aloha*Heaven], [Terrace House ALOHA STATE]'s CD [EDEN KAI EDEN KAI], and many other corporate designs. RAINBOW DRIVE-IN, one of the most famous plate lunch restaurants in Hawaii, is always named as one of the most favorite plate lunch restaurants in Honolulu. Since its establishment in 1961, RAINBOW DRIVE-IN has been a favorite of locals and surfers alike.
