Under the influence of Ito Shinsui's "Eight Views of Omi," he began making prints and pursued "new prints" while using traditional Ukiyo-e techniques under the guidance of printmaker Watanabe Shozaburo, and produced landscape prints with a rich travel sentiment. His representative works are "Twenty Scenes of Tokyo" and "Twelve Scenes of Tokyo. |
