| *Azuki beans have been produced for over 100 years since the pioneer days in the Tokachi Plain, which looks up to the Hidaka Mountains, Fair trade brown sugar (mascobado sugar) produced in Negros Occidental, Philippines, and fine agar made in the mountains of Gifu. These simple ingredients are selected at a long-established anko (bean paste) shop, which has been in business for almost 100 years, The bean-jam craftsman cooks and kneads the bean-jam while watching over the process. *The red beans are made from precious, specially grown azuki beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, Japan. Chocolate The well-known organic bitter chocolate from Switzerland is kneaded into the filling. The texture and mouth feel of yokan are combined with the rich flavor of cacao. The complex taste is similar to that of raw chocolate. [Brand Introduction] A brand specializing in fair trade, a trade system that is friendly to people and the earth.
