Description
The azuki beans have been produced for over 100 years in the Tokachi Plain, which looks up to the Hidaka Mountains, fair trade brown sugar (mascobado sugar) produced in Negros Occidental, Philippines, and fine agar produced in the mountains of Gifu Prefecture, Japan. These simple, carefully selected ingredients are cooked and kneaded by an anko (red bean paste) craftsman at a long-established anko shop, which will soon be in business for 100 years. The red beans are made from precious, specially grown azuki beans produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido. The lineup includes four varieties of yokan, including a simple mascobado yokan, fair trade and organic chocolate, and dried fruits from Africa. Delicious harmony of delicious ingredients packed into a small Yokan. [Set of 4] We have a boxed set that is perfect for greetings, thank yous, and small celebrations. A delightful assortment of four different flavors. It is also a great way to treat yourself. The top of the box depicts azuki bean fields carefully cultivated in the vast land of Hokkaido. When you open the lid, you will see a snow hare and on the back of the box, a fox is hiding. [Brand Introduction] This brand specializes in "fair trade," a trade system that is friendly to people and the earth. Together with about 145 organizations in 18 countries in Asia, Africa, and South America, we deliver handmade clothing and sundries using traditional techniques and materials passed down in each country and region, and delicious food products made from local crops grown naturally without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
