Description
A reproduction of the fatigues shirt worn by John Lennon at his 1972 concert at Madison Square Garden. The fatigues shirt has Imjin Scouts and letter US ARMY on the chest, the U.S. Army 2nd Infantry Division unit insignia on the left arm, and the rank insignia of sergeant sewn on both arms. The base shirt is the US Type OG-107 Fatigue Shirt. From the 1940s to the 1950s, fatigues shirts were made of HBT (herringbone twill), but thereafter they were made of cotton satin and the name was changed from M-47 to OG-107. There were roughly 3-4 types of OG-107s with different pocket shapes, button positions, and changes from tube sleeves to button sleeves, and they were mainly issued in the 1960s. Our product is based on the 1st type, but we have rearranged it by changing the tube sleeves to button sleeves. |
