He is certified as a traditional craftsman (Mino ware), and is known for his high degree of perfection and stable technique, especially in daily-use vessels. His style is characterized by a deep understanding of the typical techniques and glaze tones of Mino ware, but without resorting to excessive decoration, and with a belief in creating vessels that blend naturally into the user's daily life.
