Description
| The OG-107 Fireman Pants, adopted in the 1960s, retained the style of the regular fireman's fireman's pants from the 1940s, with a wide opening consisting of a cotton shell and a removable, waterproof treated, thermal wool liner, not buttons. Fishtail tail cuffs and dot hooks were used for quick and direct application. Only the color was manufactured in olive green, the same color as military work uniforms, whereas the typical firefighting uniform of the time was black. There were no major changes in military firefighting uniforms until the 1980s, and the same style of firefighting uniforms were used for about 40 years. |
