ガーゼは使い込むほどにソフトな風合いになっていくので、お気に入りの一枚に育ててみてください。
ブロックプリントとは、木彫り版でハンコを押すように1柄ずつ1色ずつプリントされたものです。
まず、アウトラインとなる柄のスタンプを押していき、その後色を乗せていきます。
使われている色の数だけ作業は複雑になっていきます。
全て手作業の為、染ムラやスタンプの境目などが少し出ていますが、それがブロックプリントの良さでもあり、風合いとなっております。
