Description
| 70cm size furoshiki. Dyed at Baba Dyeing Factory, a collaboration between mashu and Marble.co. Unlike morning glories, hirugao blooms in the daytime. The language of flowers is "kizuna" (bond) and "friendliness" (friendship). It is said that the name derives from the fact that the vines are firmly entwined around a support pole. It is a perfect gift for a loved one. The flowers bloom from spring to summer, but the colors are easy to use regardless of the season. When folded, the pattern of vines seen at the edges is a key point. In a wooden Gassho-zukuri factory that has been in Kyoto for 110 years, craftsmen continue to dye each furoshiki carefully, one by one, using the traditional technique of hand-dyeing.
