ネパール本国から直接取り寄せたブラス（真鍮）製の食器です。同じ食文化圏に属しているようで微妙に異なるインドとネパール。インドではステンレスや銅の食器は多いですが真鍮の食器はマイナーな存在です。ネパールで来客をもてなしたり高級レストランで用いられるのはこちらのずっしりしたブラスの食器です。決してお値段は安くはありませんが、使い込む程に鈍い色合いを増し、渋みと味わいが深くなっていく食器です。
■スタイリッシュな造形
彫り込まれている細かな模様こそネパール・インドで良く見られるものですが、造形はアジア圏とは思えないほど洗練されています。スマートなシルエットがカッコよくて買付班もカトマンドゥで出会って一目惚れしてしまいました。ダルバートともにこんなグラスで飲み物がサーブされたら…想像するだけでワクワクしてしまいますね！カップ部分と脚部分はネジ式になっているので収納も便利なのがワンポイントです。長く手元に置けるテーブルウェアとしてどうぞ。
