| *Tongs for chapattis These are tongs for chapatti, known locally as chimta. Chimta is also used as the name of a tong-shaped instrument. The length of the tongs is about 23 cm, which is neither too long nor too short, and is just the right size for flipping chapattis and the like. *It is also recommended for charcoal for shisha. Recommended for holding charcoal for shisha (water tobacco). It can also be used for various other purposes, such as moving charcoal when burning resin incense. Since these tongs are made one by one in India, they are very rough and scratched compared to the shiny tongs you can generally get in Japan. They have a slightly vintage look to them even though they are brand new, but that is part of what makes these tongs so unique to India. |

現地でチムタ(Chimta)と呼ばれるチャパティ用のトングです。チムタは、トング状の楽器の名前にも使われています。

シーシャ(水タバコ)用の炭を持つ時にもオススメ。シーシャ以外にも樹脂香を焚く際に炭を移動させる時などなど、様々な用途にご使用いただけます。
インドで一つ一つ作られているので、日本で一般的に手に入るピカピカなトングと比べると、キズが入っていたりとっても無骨。新品なのに、ちょっとヴィンテージ感を醸し出していますが、そんなところもインドらしいトングです。
