| Te�. Mushi's works feature a great number of characters. Each work naturally has its own protagonist and supporting characters, but Te�怩he used the characters he created as if they were actors, and decided on the cast for each work. The idea was based on the Hollywood [star system], where a character who was the protagonist in one film could appear as an antagonist or supporting character in another film. This book introduces famous scenes from the plays along with character sheets of representative Tezuka works. Representative characters are introduced in the style of a talent book, which includes a list of [works in which they appeared]. In addition, there is a section where you can see all the characters who appeared in Tezuka's major works from his early to late years, which are not included in the Star System, as well as a mascot character created for a company or organization by Tezuka Shame, and other valuable materials that are being shown for the first time. The only work that bears the name of "Higeoyaji" (real name: Shunsaku Ban), a supporting character who appeared in many works, is also included, along with all the episodes of "Shunsaku Ban Makarimaru," which was previously considered a work of illusion because it was never published in book form. The book also contains many other rare and valuable art manuscripts, including unpublished manuscripts and names, which cannot be seen anywhere else. |
