| *Mouth harp by mouth harpist This is a standard shaped mouth harp with a wooden handle created by a mouth harp artist in Vietnam. It is created with reference to Indian and Saha mouth harps to make it easier and to produce a better sound. The price is a bit expensive, but the quality is solid because it is made by a professional artist. Although the top is covered with wood, the part that serves as the main body is made of brass, which is heavy and can withstand years of use. Each piece is carefully crafted by cutting and shaving a thick plate of brass. It feels like metal work for music has been properly and carefully applied. *Easier to play than the Indian mouth harp. The shape is similar to the authentic Indian mouth harp, but this mouth harp is much easier to play and sound. Even beginners can easily play the mouth harp by lightly touching it to all surfaces of the teeth and starting to play. The Indian mouth harp requires the mouth harp to be pressed quite hard against the surface of the front teeth, and it is even said that [the back of the teeth will chip], but this mouth harp does not seem to have that problem. The fact that it sounds easily means that the reed is acoustically soft, so the sound is a bit more bass-oriented and has a milder output. |

ベトナムで口琴作家が作成している木の持ち手付きのスタンダードな形の口琴です。インドやサハの口琴を参考に、より簡単に、良い音が鳴るように工夫して作成されています。お値段はちょっと高いですが、専門の作家さんによる作品ですので、クオリティはしっかりしています。
木でトップを覆ってはいますが、本体になっている部分は重量感があり、長年の使用にも耐えるブラス製。ブラスの厚い板を切り出し、削り出だして、1個1個丁寧に作成しています。音楽のためのメタルワークがきちんと丁寧に施されている感じです。
■インド口琴よりも鳴らしやすい
本場のインド口琴に形は似ていますが、演奏のしやすさ、音の鳴りやすさはこちらの口琴のほうがだんぜん上です。口琴を歯の全面に軽く接触させて鳴らし始めると、初心者でも無理なく音が出せます。
インド口琴は結構強く口琴を前歯の表面に押し当てる必要があって、「歯の後ろが欠ける」とまで言われていますが、その心配はこの口琴にはなさそうです。
簡単に鳴るということは、音響的にはリードが柔らかいことを意味しますので、音はちょっと低音寄りでマイルドな出音になっています。
