この楽器、スプーンクラッカーは、長いスプーンの後ろに当てて音を出す用の木の玉がついた不思議な楽器です。一見しただけではこれが楽器だと想像することも難しい、誰もが初めて見る不思議なシェイプをしています。
この楽器を片手に持ち、もう片手に打ち付けることによって、カチカチと軽く小気味よい音が出ますが、スプーンの部分を手のひらに打ち付け、その打ち付ける場所を変えることで音をミュートさせたり、オープンにしたりといろいろな音の変化をつけることができるのです。
シンプルだけど面白い。アジアの不思議楽器ですね
