タブラのチューニングや革の交換など、タブラをプレイする時の、あらゆるシチュエーションで使うことが出来るメタルハンマーです。チューニング専用のハンマーであり、「ハトゥリ」と呼ばれます。
タブラを演奏している人が演奏中にハンマーを取り出して、コンコンと皮のリムの部分を叩いているのを見たことがある人も多いと思いますが、あれは、汗などによって微妙に狂ったチューニングをこのハンマーで治しているからなのです。
一見普通のハンマーに見えますが、普通のハンマーと違うのは、持ち手の後ろ側に、革紐を持ち上げたり、引っ掛けたりするための形状が作られていること。これがないと、グリ（木の丸いもの）の上に革紐を載せたり出来ないのです。
