Description
*Natural and colorful for your life This is a medium-sized ata bag with the warmth of a handmade bag. The traditional batik cloth printed with wax-dyeing is also beautiful. Please choose your favorite pattern. The quality is so high that it is hard to believe that each piece is woven by hand. The fragrance of smoked coconut, which is insect repellent and long-lasting, is wonderful. *From the village of Tuganan, birthplace of ata Ata baskets are one of Bali's representative traditional handicrafts. It takes a lot of time and effort to make it properly, so the quality varies greatly depending on where it is made. These ata baskets are made in Tunganan village in East Bali, the birthplace of ata baskets. The people who live in this Tunganan village are called Bali Aga, the original inhabitants of Bali, so to speak. Today, they live in a village enclosed like a wall, weaving and making ata baskets. *Bali's highest quality The ata baskets of this village are of the best quality, as it is the birthplace of ata baskets in Bali. It takes more than a day's drive from the center of Bali, and it is not easy to get there, but that is the reason why time goes by slowly and the traditional craftsmanship with emphasis on quality is possible. These baskets can be used for a long time. *Handmade products like treasures When I visited Tuganan village to buy a bag, I asked him, "How long does it take to weave a normal-sized bag? I asked him how long it would take him to knit a normal-sized bag. [Not only that," he replied, "it takes a month and a half to knit and dry. It takes a month and a half to knit, a month and a half to dry, a month and a half to fumigate, a month and a half to final check, and a month and a half to knit one bag. I can't believe it takes a month and a half or two months for one bag... It's like a treasured handmade product. Tilaquita staff went to the village of Tunganan to see how ata baskets are actually made. Please take a look before you purchase an ata basket. |
