*Traditional Indonesian batik

Batik is an Asian cloth created by printing wax dyeing, a traditional Indonesian dyeing method in which the dyed area has a very unique pattern. It is also called Javanese chintz.

Indonesian batik is said to have originated from the royal palace culture of the Kingdom of Java. In the past, it was only worn by the nobility of the royal court.

In 2009, it was registered as a World Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

The cloth symbolizes the charm of Indonesia with its cultural and ethnic diversity.

*Designs cultivated through history

The designs are fascinating and remind us of Indonesia's history, such as the semen pattern that combines animals such as birds and plants, the parang*rsak, a royal palace pattern that means sword, and the chintz pattern influenced by India.

*Traditional patterns are printed on the fabric.

Genuine wax dyeing is very time-consuming and expensive, and is difficult to handle due to its origins in dyeing and weaving.

These batiks are printed based on traditional designs. It is more affordable and easier to handle, while maintaining the same atmosphere.

*Size is also sufficient! For Various Uses

It is large enough to be used as a tablecloth or sofa cover.

It can also be used for curtains, bedspreads, Asian baby slings, etc., depending on your ideas.

The design of the traditional pattern has a strong presence and can easily create a wonderful Asian space!
