[Profile]Richi Ueno (1893-1967) was a designer active in Vienna and Kyoto. Her married name was Felice Rix. Born in Vienna, she was influenced by Japanese culture and art at the Vienna School of Crafts. After working as a designer at the Wiener Werkstätte, she met and married the Japanese architect Isaburo Ueno. After moving to Kyoto, she continued to work as a designer between Vienna and Kyoto. |
