| AOMORI NO SAKANA SAKAZUKI [The "Aomori no Sakana (snacks)" project started with the desire to make the delicious fish caught by Aomori fishermen better known. Aomori's glass artisans made full use of the colored glass that they mixed for each snack to create a "sake cup" that looks as if it were alive. We hope you will drink from these sake cups when tasting Aomori fish and Aomori sake. Sea bream / Sea of Japan* Mutsu Bay... The red sea bream is a beautiful, high-class fish. Even the vivid blue spots on the body have been faithfully reproduced. Tuna/Ohma*Ryubi... Oama tuna is known as a black diamond. A new color was mixed to represent the color of its back. Mackerel/Hachinohe maeoki... The pattern on the back of this piece is made of colored glass. It is the Hachinohe-maeoki Mackerel itself. Flathead flounder/ Aomori prefecture... Flathead flounder is the prefectural fish of Aomori Prefecture. Like the flatfish that lurks on the sandy ocean floor, it may be invisible on the beach. Aomori snack sake cup set... 「青森の漁師が獲った旨い魚をもっと知ってほしい」という想いで始まった「あおもりの肴」プロジェクト。
青森のガラス職人がそれぞれの肴に合せ調合した色ガラスを駆使し、まるで生きているかのような「盃」を作り上げた。
青森の魚と青森の酒を味わう際には、ぜひこの盃で呑んで頂きたい。
マダイ/日本海・陸奥湾…赤く美しい高級魚、真鯛。体側の青く鮮やかな青色斑をも忠実に再現しました。
マグロ/大間・龍飛...黒いダイヤと称される大間マグロ。その背の色を表現する為に新たな色を調合しました。
マサバ/八戸前沖...背中のサバ紋をイメージし、色ガラスで模様を練りあげました。八戸前沖サバそのものです。
ヒラメ/青森県全域...県の魚に制定されるヒラメ。砂地の海底に潜むヒラメ同様、砂浜の上では見えなくなるかも？
