Nugenhide is a processing method suited to the Japanese climate, in which the leather is soaked in a tank filled with tannin solution, and the basic material is created over a period of about one to one and a half months. The leather is then dyed and finished using water-dyeing and other techniques. *Because it is a natural material, it may have some scratches, stains, and wrinkles, but each piece of leather has a different appearance. 南米産のミモザの樹皮から抽出されたタンニン剤で、じっくりなめしあげた純正ぬめ革です。
なめし方法は、匠の技術を駆使して造りあげた、完成度の高いレザーです。
ぬめ革とは、日本の風土に合った加工方法で、タンニン液を満たした槽に皮を浸し、約1ヶ月〜1ヶ月半かけて基礎素材を作り上げた革です。
このぬめ革を、さらに水染め等の手法により染色仕上げをしています。
