[Tessenka hana hiwa (flower of iron): A pattern of transparent grains scattered on the surface of a dark brown matte glaze. Each piece is individually hand-blown with a water-repellent spray in the color of hiwa. Hiwa means yellowish green, and Mugiyama-Yama's Hiwa color emphasizes green to create a subdued atmosphere of Japanese tableware.
