| *This pattern, also known as pomegranate, is one of the most popular patterns in Morris's work and was used in the interiors of the homes of many artistically minded people at the time. *The fruits, flowers and leaves are stylized, but with complexity and flowing rhythm. *Morris was opposed to both extreme realism and regularity, and sought to depict the charm of lively nature. *When applying shoji lace fabric, please make sure to put the front and back of the fabric on the same side. *(*The shiny side will be the outdoor side.) If you are concerned about the wrinkles in the packaging, please iron it before applying. |
