Description
| [Japanese Minoyaki, Shofu Kiln, Yoji Sone KANNA Plate / Plate, Scandinavian style [Product Description] This is a plate made by Yoji Sone of Shofugama, a Minoyaki potter and artist for the Nitten exhibition. The traditional jumping plane technique has been arranged in a modern style to create a fashionable Scandinavian atmosphere. The mug is stable with a simple shape and easy to hold handle. The plate is sharp and has an erect rim to prevent spills. It is perfect for use in daily life as well as for guests. The hopping planing technique is a technique in which the raw material is placed on a potter's wheel and a plane or spatula is applied to the spinning material. Mr. Sone has used two or three colors instead of the conventional single color to create a design that is somehow reminiscent of a Northern European style, despite the fact that it is an ancient Japanese technique. Recommended for inbound sales. |
