| We make knit products one by one by hand with local knitters in the Andes region of Peru, South America, near Lake Titicaca at an altitude of about 3,800 meters. The products are made of rough, light, dye-free, low-gauge wool. The distinctive voluminous shawl collar is a key feature. Model height: 158cm [Material Characteristics] Peruvian wool yarns are characterized by their lightness and volume. Because they are made in the Andes Mountains on old spinning machines, the twists are sweet and the yarns are uneven. This gives the knitwear an even more distinctive flavor. Also, the yarns have less oil and moisture than those from other regions, so they look voluminous, but when worn, they are light and fluffy. The less twisting of the yarn means that it is full of air, which is excellent for heat retention.
