| This is an original table stand created using William Morris fabric, which is very popular in Japan. William Morris's nature-inspired designs continue to fascinate many people around the world. Strawberry Thief, one of the most popular designs, is a must-have for Morris fans. We have a lineup of three colors. The lampshade (fabric shade) has a three-dimensional effect by using a vertical bone and a fringe to give it a softer impression. The inside of the shade is also covered with fabric to create a soft light. (The fabric pattern of the shade cannot be specified for this product.) The body of the stand is made of natural wood. Therefore, the grain of the wood and the shade of the paint will differ from each other. This lamp is designed to be enjoyed both when the lamp is lit and when the lamp is turned off. Fabric Strawberry thief 313 The gardener tried to grow strawberries, but they were eaten by greedy birds. The work depicting such a scene was inspired by the small worries of gardeners in their daily lives. The original was created using the Indigo Bessen technique, a highly sophisticated printing technique that first removed the colors of the design on the indigo-dyed fabric, and then printed the same process again, this time in red, green, and yellow. The resulting colors were so rich and vibrant that it is said that the entire printing process took several days to complete. [William Morris, also known as the "father of modern design," has many deep-rooted fans around the world and in Japan as well, with numerous exhibitions held at art museums throughout the country.
