Description
Natural silk material that is gentle to hair and skin. Natural silk seal weave pillowcase. [Sleep wrapped in soft and gentle silk] This pillowcase is made of luxuriously soft and fluffy silk spun yarn all over the skin side. After carefully weaving delicate silk yarns into a pile, the pile rings are carefully cut to create this fluffy, light, unique and gentle texture and elasticity with the skill and eye of a veteran craftsman. Silk's characteristic moisture retention and humidity control reduces friction on the hair and protects the hair and skin from dryness and flakiness. The reverse side is also made of moisture absorbent and desorbent cotton for a comfortable feel all year round. [Produced in the Koyakaguchi district of Wakayama Prefecture] Koyakuchi is located in the northeastern part of Wakayama Prefecture. Located at the foot of mountains at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters, the climate is humid and has a wide range of temperatures. The textile industry has flourished in this area since the Edo period, taking advantage of the Kino River that runs through the center of the town and its abundant water supply. [What is seal weaving?] Seal weaving is a type of pile weaving in which the Takanokuchi district of Wakayama Prefecture holds 90% of the market share in Japan. It is characterized by its velvet-like luxurious and moist texture, and is glossy and soft to the touch. It is named "seal (seal)" because of its resemblance to seal hair. [Made from carefully raised silkworms and spun silk.] Silkworm silk is characterized by its thin, uniform thread thickness, luster, and smooth texture. Among silk, we use silk spun yarn, which is fluffier and softer than silk. The density and other design features are also carefully considered in pursuit of comfort for daily use. *Easy to attach with two elastic bands *Made in Japan |
