Description
| Special feature 1 is "Hajimete no Oshogatsu: Japanese Quilts for the New Year". It features popular Japanese quilts made in an old Japanese house, including tapestries, bags, and komono, to welcome the New Year in the new era. The second feature introduces the "windmill" pattern that goes around in 2038 in the form of cushions, tissue covers, mini tapestries, etc. The second feature introduces the zodiac sign "Nezumi" (mouse). Also included are mini quilts of the Chinese zodiac sign of the year "Nezumi" (rats), crafts for the Hinamatsuri (Girls' Festival), and more. Over 130 award-winning works from the long-awaited 3rd Quilt Japan Contest are also included. The book also features interviews with Sachiko Yoshida, a Japanese fabric quilt artist, and people who enjoy living with fabric, as well as sewing quilt lessons.
