Description
| The theme of the special issue is "Handmade Autumn Outfits. Using fabrics from the popular Hokkaido textile brand "Dot and Line Pattern Factory," run by designer Rieko Oka, interior accessories, bags, pouches, clasps, and wear items are proposed. Also included are an introduction to Momoe Miura's book "A Bouquet of Time," a compilation of her creative activities over 30 years; Hitomi Shida's Aran knitwear; tapestries and bags by quilters Yosako Kasa and Masako Mikumo; and Yumiko Iwata's traditional embroidery Eala shoshu. The appendix is a "petanko tote bag" made of fabric designed by Rieko Oka of Dot and Line Pattern Factory. It comes with a stain-resistant and durable nylon-ox lining. |
