| A book on hairpin lace for beginners by lace knitting artist Yoshiko Ariizumi. Hairpin lace is a simple lace in which loops made by hanging yarn over a hairpin device are made into long, thin tapes, which are then bundled and joined together to form a work of art. Basic techniques such as how to handle the hairpin weaving machine, how to make basic tapes, and how to put together braid and motifs are explained in detail with photos and illustrations. To make the book easy for beginners, OLYMPUS Emmy Grande and DMC No. 10 lace yarn are used for the yarn, and a 4 cm wide hairpin weaving machine is used.
