Description
Sticky notes from the [Gokuraku Sento Meguri] series, a collaboration with a public bathhouse. [Sauna no Umeyu] is the first of the public bathhouses that Yutonamisha took over in 2015. Not far from Kyoto Station, the bathhouse is visited by many people of all ages* and nationalities. Many of the staff members are culture enthusiasts, holding music events on regular holidays. The neon signboard of "Sauna no Umeyu" has been in place since before it was taken over, and the reason for the "Sauna no" is because it was rare to find a public bathhouse with a sauna when it was installed*! In the women's bath, there is a "paint painting" by Mizuki Tanaka, a painter, which can be said to be a unique part of the bathhouse culture. Made in Japan |
