Zelkova wood from Japan's natural forests is dried for about 6 months, Each piece of this artisan-made vessel is carefully shaved one by one by craftsmen in Odawara. The zelkova wood has a red to yellow hue, It has long been a familiar material in Japan, used for bowls, trays, and shrine pillars. It is characterized by its distinct winter and summer grain, which gives it a wood-like grain. Craftsmen handcraft the wood from the blades used for shaving, without compromise, The craftsman's heart is put into every product.
